In the exhibition Farming Architects at Stockholm Furniture Fair, architecture studio Jordens Arkitekter offered an immersive look into the future of construction, where sustainable architecture integrates with ecology and agriculture.

Reading Room

Formafantasma creates the installation Reading Room where visitors will find a calm space to sit for a moment, and read, reflect and immerse themselves in the ideas that have shaped Formafantasma’s work.

New Ventures

We introduced the new area New Ventures with a new breed of designers and selected first-time exhibitors reflecting new tendencies in the design industry. The area was drawn by designer Nick Ross and included Niko June, NM3, Gustaf Westman Objects, Swedish Girls and more.

Älvsjö Gård

Älvsjö Gård is Stockholm Furniture Fair’s platform for small-scale, limited-edition design and art. This year the platform invited designers, makers and artists to showcase their work in a designated area at the fair.

Folkform: The Museum of Masonite

The exhibition Folkform: The Museum of Masonite showcased a selection of work designed by Folkform in Swedish Masonite board during the last 15 years and includes a number of brand-new pieces.

Guest of Honour 2024

The Italian studio Formafantasma is one of the design world's most prolific and sought after right now, with works exhibited in galleries and museums worldwide. As Guest of Honor at the Stockholm Furniture Fair, Formafantasma created an installation in the entrance hall – the studio's very first exhibition in Sweden.

Surface Club

The research-led studio Lab La Bla created a design bar that explored native materials, new environmental agendas and exciting technologies emerging from Scandinavia. At The Surface Club, sitting down wasn’t the primary activity.

The Yellow Thread

The Yellow Thread was an installation created by the design duo Färg & Blanche and was first shown during the Swedish presidency of the European Union in 2023. The version that met the visitor at Stockholm Furniture Fair 2024 consisted of a bar and seating area, and a spacious stage area.

Ung Svensk Form

Ung Svensk Form 2024 celebrates the traces of time. After the opening week in Greenhouse, the exhibition continues on a year-long tour in Sweden.
