The research-based design studio Formafantasma, the fair’s guest of honor this year, was founded by Andrea Trimarchi and Simone Farresin in 2009. The studio investigates the ecological, social and political forces shaping contemporary design, exploring its transformative potential. With major exhibitions such as Cambio at London’s Serpentine Gallery, Formafantasma has played a vital role in changing contemporary design practice.
Formafantasma’s presentation will be followed by a Q&A with Felix Burrichter and James Taylor-Foster.
The talk is a collaboratoin with the Italian Cultural Institute in Stockholm.
