Many contemporary designers adopt an approach towards their practice that draws on some of the techniques of anthropology, using their skills and projects to tell stories about how and why we live, all while foregrounding untold or previously obscured narratives. This panel discussion, moderated by Oli Stratford, Disegno’s editor-in-chief, invites Sammy Bernoussi of Hall.Haus, Anna Holmquist of Folkform and Mira Bergh Edenborg and Josefin Zachrisson of Swedish Girls to reflect on the potentials and pitfalls of taking this research-led and narrative-based approach.
