Welcome to an inspirational and educational talk hosted by TMF, The Swedish Federation of Wood and Furniture Industry.
The starting point of the conversation is a presentation about the reuse of The Yellow Thread installation by FÄRG & BLANCHE. The Yellow Thread is a design concept created last year for the Swedish Presidency of the European Union in Brussels - now presented in Sweden for the very first time, at the Stockholm Furniture Fair. The installation has evolved from its original form to a bar and seating area, and a spacious stage hosting the fair’s talks program. A circulated installation. with furniture that are all designed and produced with a circular ambition.
The installation is the perfect backdrop for a discussion about how the Swedish furniture industry lives, thrives, and embodies circularity as the central vision for the industry: from linear manufacturing to circular business models.
Guests on stage include Cecilia Sebesta, CEO at Edsbynand , Benny Hermansson, CEO at Gemla and Thibault d´Ortoli, Nordic Sustainability Manager at Tarkett - that will share some of their best practices within circularity.
